VENKATESHWARA VOW & HOW HE FORCED TO KEEP IT UP !

THIS  IS A TRUE INCIDENT IN MY LIFE WHICH SHOWS
HOW LORD VENKATESHWARA MANIPULATED TO TAKE
A VOW & THEN FORCED ME TO KEEP IT UP ! !

THIS ALSO SHOWS HOW KERALA 'PRASHNA' 
ASTROLOGY'S ACCURACY IS GOOD BUT WITH  ITS OWN 
DRAWBACKS.

Twenty two years back , we were going to Thirupathi from 
Bangaluru in our relative's car. That time I was executing 
wooden decorative doors & carved Gods panels etc. to the 
relative's Br-in-law's house.He was planning to sell his Fiat 
car & I  had decided to buy that car Our relative's daughter 
Sharmila was staying in that house for her studies,hence she 
had come to know about my buying the car. She was also 
travelling  with us & she casually asked ,"Bava, if you buy

the car,will you go to Thirupathi ?" I replied to her," I may go " 

As a policy I was against making vows to God like business !

                My wife when she went to Mangalore around that 
time,but before buying the car, consulted a famous Kerala 
astrologer  about it. He was following 'PRASHNA' astrology 
ie, depending on the time of your asking question a 
horoscope will be cast to the question (just like being done 
to people based on their birth time) & based on that 
horoscope predictions are made. Predictions made in this 
method are about 70% accurate. The astrologer told my 
wife that, after buying the car, for six months I should not 
go on long journey on highway but can drive inside the city.

               I bought the car in the month of June that year &
started driving the car inside the city without any problem. 
Next year I went to Mayavaram, Tamilnadu  by bus to read 
palm lief predictions & I was asked to do a special puja to 
Goddess Durga- 'Purva Janma Papa Parihara Puja' 
for my previous birth actions.There is a very famous 
Durga temple at Katil, Mangalore. I went to Mangalore by 
bus in the month of May & fixed the puja in the month of 
June in consultation with the temple authorities.That means 
after one year of buying the car.

           My wife, younger son & myself started in our car to 
Mangalore, two days before the puja day, early morning 
which is 350 Kms. away from Bangalore.On the way first we 
came across thousands of flies(one day life) over a long 
stretch of road hitting the wind screen in hundreds & dying ! 
When we drove further we saw an Eagle(Venkateswara's 
vehicle)  sitting in the middle of road, as we approached 
near, it flew towards the car, hit the wind screen bleeding 
many drops of blood on the car & flew away. We washed 
the blood stains  & proceeded further.

            As we were approaching Uppinangadi(60 Kms 
before Mangalore), there were two gas tankers ahead of us
moving very slowly.hence I thought of over taking them. As I
was doing so, the tanker behind wanted to over take the front 
tanker & came to the right side of the road,in the shock I went 
blank,car was in the extreme right side of the road.The car 
overshot the road,rolled sideways three times & landed 25 
feet below with tyers upwards,petrol leaking.Side,front,rear 
glasses were not broken, no injury to all the three of us. son 
who was in the rear seat had come out of his own, we crawled 
out of the car & tape recorder  was playing GOD'S bhajan !
We took a taxi & returned to Mangalore.

              Next day I went to the accident spot with car mechanic
with three other people to push the car.The car was rolled back 
to stand on tyers , pushed up a gradient with lot of bushes car 
still 8 feet below the road level. As we were thinking how to lift
the car by that height to the road level, LORD 
VENKATESHWARA sent a lorry in that road fully equipped with
pulley,iron chain etc, used for granite boulders handling.
Seeing the crowd watching, lorry stopped,one among us knew 
somebody in that lorry, they talked to each other in Malayalam 
indicating help is needed to lift the car to the road level. Lorry 
pulled to side of the road near the car & chain was dropped 
down, hooked to front guard of car pulled up in minutes to 
road & went away.The mechanic started the damaged car in 
five minutes & car started moving towards Mangalore,all four 
tyres wobbling.We followed the car in the taxi we came from 
Mangalore. As you know, LORD VENKATESHWARA does 
not want us to reach Mangalore in that car !! 
                   

          Next day was 'Purva Janma Papa Parihara Puja' at Katil 
Durga Parameshwari Temple which our family & me attended, 
completing all formalities of puja. Puja details have been given 
in the Nadi Shastra which is not known to Archakas & rituals to 
be conducted as per that. Archaka & me prayed for parihara of 
papas(sins) in this birth,previous births as stipulated in the 
palm lief NADI SHSTHRA.

            

          Next day  my wife & myself went to the same famous 
astrologer & asked him why such a major accident took place
when we have come for a auspicious puja. Without any hint 
from us at all, he told us a vow to LORD VENKATESHWARA 
is pending & that HE wanted to remind us about the vow,give 
us a shock,not to hurt us in the accident.He also told we have 
to go to Thirupathi in that car or if we sell the car,we have to 
go in the next car we would be buying.

           We were remembering about the vow & we had 
planned to go to Thirupathi in December, however LORD 
VENKATESHWARA wanted us to go immediately, HE did not 
want us to reach Mangalore in that car. The car was repaired 
at Mangalore in two months,I drove it back to Bangaluru, after 
one or two months we went to Thirupathi in that car.How much 
LORD VENKATESWARA loves me,HE manipulated to take a
vow & forced me not to go to Mangalore in that car, then after
repair made me to go to Thirupathi to pray to HIM !!
