 1) Q: What is one thing that has changed your life, 
either good or bad? 

A: Seeing & experiencing power of GOD, knowing Spiritual 

Knowledge has changed my life. Not being in bondage of 

mind, power of GOD, being in Spiritual Bliss, experiencing 

this world like dream, beyond worry & sorrow, always 

established in GOD which is ---

Infinite - Knowledge - Bliss, are very very GOOD !


2) Q: What's the weirdest question you've ever been 

          asked? 

A: Hen or egg which came first ? 

From where you came to this world, where will you go from 

here ? 

How the SOUL(ATHMA) got this body made of five elements ? 

Is this world real or like a dream, or is it a projection of mind ? 

Have you seen GOD ? with form or without form ?

What is the purpose of this creation , with birth,death, 

creation and dissolution of planets,stars etc.?

3) Q: What is something you would like to see happen in 

your lifetime? 

A: Awareness of Soul(ATHMA) all the time ie, ATMANANDA

(BLISS OF SOUL), That is nothing but being with GOD all the 

time. GURU AS GOD guiding you all the time in every step, in 

every breath of life ! Is there anything greater than this to 

achieve or wish for !!

Finally to meet all requirements, for no more rebirths !!

4) Q: What do you value most in life? 

A: To know 'Who am I ?',Maya, Mind, creation of God & 'GOD'.

How to lead a life liberated from all bonds & attain Spiritual 

Bliss !To be liberated in this birth only, Shirdi SAI BABA has 

proved that a man can become GOD !! Follow him. Finally 

no desires,no mind & to abide in ATHMA which is 

Brahman only!!

5) Q: What's your favorite word? 

A: It is 'ATHMA' meaning 'SOUL'.'SELF' which is BRAHMAN

(formless GOD).Even though you see as if there are many 

souls, basically there is only one ATHMA,which has created 

this illusory universe. It is everywhere & everything which is 

infinite,eternal,self-luminous, bliss & knowledge --

OH MY GOD !!

6) Q: If your life flashed before you, what do you wish you 

would have done? 

A: If my life flashed before me,I am bound to live that way,

irrespective of my wish !.I cannot alter the life flashed before 

me, which is the result of my Karmas in my previous births.

I have no other option but to surrender to GOD & accept how 

he wants me to live. I can only follow Yoga of LIBERATION !!

7) Q: If you could change one thing about yourself, what 

would it be? 

A: My mind to merge in ATHMA-SOUL(GOD) all the time 

crossing MAYA ie, worldly desires, attachments and elimination 

of EGO ! This leads to fulfillment of this human birth & we 

see GOD in all & everything. This leads to liberation cutting 

down all shackles & bonds !!

8) Q: Where are you most ticklish?

A: In my mind, when it merges in SOUL & am full of 

DIVINE BLISS !

9) Q: Who was the best teacher you've ever had? 

A: GOD ALMIGHTY is the best teacher all the time.He is my 

Mother, guide & philosopher ! This world is his classroom,life 

is his teaching, if we fail, rebirth in the same class continues. 

Unless we become liberated beyond religion,status,ignorance,

narrow mindedness,ego he won't admit us to his abode

(ie, to merge) !

10) Q: What word do you like the sound of? 

A: When I am hungry, I like the sound of my Mother calling out 

"Dinner is ready" 

When I want to play, friends calling "LET US PLAY "

 
When I am in LOVE my heart throb's 

"Sweet nothings in my ear"

 
When I am a Mother my child's first call of 'AMMA' 

When I pray to GOD, greatest sound on earth ॐ ie, OM-KARA

11) Q: Are you superstitious? 

A: A person who is spiritual & aspiring liberation should never 

believe in it. After we surrender to GOD there is no room for 

horoscope, planets position, panchang, auspicious time.

We cannot alter what is bound to happen good or bad.We are

 ATHMA which is BRAHMAN & why we should bother about 

superstitions ?

12) Q: Who is your favorite actor? 

A: I don't give much importance to Movies, our life itself is 

like a movie,MAYA is special effects of GOD, hence I do not 

have any favorite actor. Instead I see GOD in all, may he be 

a beggar or king of kings !!

13) Q: What's your favorite thing to read? 

A: Anything & everything about GOD told in vedantha & 

what previous saints like Shankaracharya, Ramana Maharshi, 

Shirdi Sai Baba & Ramakrishna Paramahamsa told about 

Spirituality & GOD. Their life story as to how they achieved 

those highest levels in spirituality. so that we can try to go in 

their foot steps.

14) Q: How would you define what you want out of life? 

A: All human beings want HAPPINESS out of life.Materialistic 

Happiness is not long lasting & is associated with problems,

worries.If we control our mind through meditation & prayer 

to GOD,we are able to abide in our SELF which is full of 

BLISS. BLISS achieved in this way is beyond sorrow forever.

15) What would you like to be written on your grave ?


First of all I don't want any grave for my dead body, as

Five elements from which it was made off, have merged

back to their source & Soul has no death.


As a matter of interest to the readers, answer is --

" I was not born or died in this unreal world which is MAYA

(mental play / projection), GOD / ATHMA alone is REAL"

CAN PRARABHDA KARMA BE ALTERED ?

QUESTION --

CAN PRARABHDA KARMA BE ALTERED ?

IN SRI PADA VALLABHA (SECOND INCARNATION 
OF DATTATREYA) CHARITHRE IT IS STATED THAT
HE HAS CHANGED PRARABHDA KARMA OF SOME
PEOPLE DURING HIS LIFE TIME.

SRI SHANKARACHARYA

As per Shankaracharya  a person becomes Jeevanmuktha 
when result of all his Papa karmas of Prarabhda are 
exhausted & only result of Punya karmas are remaining,so 
that even if he is not performing any karmas his body is 
sustained till the end of his life span, which is when all his 
Prarabhda karmas are exhausted.

When a person becomes Jeevanmuktha, he sees GOD in all, 

his actions are without any Selfish motive & offered to GOD, 

so they do not produce any Papa or Punya. Such a person 

also must have achieved MANO-NASHA. In this state he 

neither suffers nor enjoys fruits of Prarabhda Karma.Please 

note that he is in Athmananda all the time. However others

 who see him think that he is suffering bodily or mentally due

to Prarabhda Karma. Even Agami karma & Sanchitha Karma 

are  nullified for such a person. He is liberated & he has no re-

birth. 

SRI RAMAKRISHNA PARAMAHAMSA

Saints like Ramakrishna looked as if suffering due to throat 

cancer and Ramana suffered elbow cancer, leg joint pain 

resulted in limping like movement of his legs.

When a devotee asked a question on this subject of
Prarabhda Karma his answer was as follows --

Question: Is it posssible to overcome, even while the 
body exists, the Prarabdha Karma which is said to 
last till the end of the body?

Sri Ramana Maharshi: Yes. If the agent, upon whom 
the Karma depends, namely the ego, which has come 
into existence between the body and the Self, merges 
in its source and loses its form, how can the Karma, 
which depends upon it, survive? When there is no ‘I’ 
there is no Karma.

BHAGWAN RAMANA MAHARSHI

SWAMI NITHYANANDA

Even Nithyananda suffered in childhood(Kamale Roga & 

his care taker mother gave him crow's meat to eat & applied 

crow's blood on the body). Three days before death he was 

on bed due to ill health. When a person suffers due to 

Prarabhda Karma, prarabhda of those who are related or 

shishyas also are linked to it. The saint may not be affected, 

but shishyas are affected.

GURU Avadhutha of Sakarayapattana

My GURU Avadhutha of Sakarayapattana had Diabetes, he 

got blisters under the feet by standing on tar road in sunshine 

for long period & it took two months to heal. Even though

he had super natural powers he did not use them to cure 

such problems.

Some saints I have heard when they get fever, they transfer it 

to their danda which starts shaking. They finish their bath,

pooja & then take back the fever from danda, not to avoid 

Prarabhda Karma

If a person falls sick or catches a disease, he goes to a doctor 

takes medicine & he gets cured, doctor has not altered his 

prarabhda. Getting cured also is part of Prarabhda.

If a person commits suicide we have  heard people say, he 

has cut short his life intentionally ie he has meddled with his 

Prarabhda resulting in 'Gora Papa' giving rise to many more 

births.However committing suicide was in his Prarabhda.

Sri Shridhara Swamy of Varadapura near Sagar,used to tell 

by Divine wisdom, whenever he used to suffer, he used to 

tell the exact reason of the Papa he committed in his 

previous birth which has given rise to the present suffering !! 

Even the Palm leaf predictions of Nadi Shastra indicates the 

previous birth Papa which resulted in a suffering in this birth.

It also gives remedies to that Papa by doing good deeds 

like Anna Dana to twelve people sometimes to Twenty one 

people, along with Sahasranama,abhisheka,naivedya,

archana,dana of cloth, to various Gods in different Temples 
& dakshina of money  to archaka or Nadi-reader etc

Swami Yogananda(autobiography of a Yogi fame) has also 

told Prarabhda can be altered by praying to GOD four times 

more ! However this contradicts Sri Shankaracharya's & 

Ramana Maharshi's view on this subject.

Please don't go by one statement, apply it in general & find 

out the validity of it.Can you bring Sri Pada Vallbha now to 

eliminate your Prarabhda ?.Think whether other saints were 

able to do the same & then raise your doubt.Saints are 

against altering Prarabhda Karma.If altered, subsequent 

births may take place,to experience the altered Prarabhda 

Karma.Saints aim is to attain liberation in this birth,resulting 

in no rebirth.

QUESTION --

ASUTHOSH MAHARAJI IN SAMADHI FOR MORE 
THAN 15 DAYS. CONNECTED DISCIPLES WORRIED 
KEPT BODY IN COLD STORAGE. NOW THEY ARE 
ASKING IF ANY BODY CAN TELL WHERE AND WHEN 
HE WILL BE COMING BACK ?

DEEP SAMADHI STATE - A challenge to MEDICAL PROFESSION !

There is no need to keep the body in cold storage in 

Samadhi State. Body will not decompose even for one 
year or more but doctors will declare him dead.

It depends on the sage's intention or what he has told 
before entering Samadhi State.If he has no intention to 
return to the world back, (Brahma Vid Varishta State)
body will not revive & it is better to make 'Samadhi' of the 
body as per rituals.

Companions should have tried to bring him back to the 
world ie,consciousness, by repeating nama japa loudly in 
his ears or blow conch(shankha) near his ears which is 

more effective & body should not  be kept in cold 

storage during this effort.

Normally Bliss of Samadhi State is so high that, Sage is not 

willing to come back to this world. If his Prarabdha Karma 

is not exhausted, he will revive & come back to this 

world.Normally the Sage gives instructions to his companions 

to protect his body, if he has intention to return to this world.

Ramana Maharshi was in Samadhi state for three months 
in Arunachala Temple's cellar room called Pathala Linga 
which is a samadhi room of the body of an earlier saint. 

Another saint Sheshadri Iyer asked people to bring up 

Ramana's body which had been attacked by worms by 

that time. He was revived,fed,hairs cut,shaved & was given 
bath.Then he became normal again.

Sadashiva Brahmendra 

Sadashiva Brahmendra used to be in samadhi for more 

than one year under sand, on another occasion under hay
(or timber).

Shirdi Sai Baba 

Shirdi Sai Baba was in Samadhi State for Six days, but 

he had given instructions to protect his body till he returns,
He had told he will return after three days, but he returned 
after six days.He told he didn't get permission to return 
earlier.Then also there was confusion among those who are 
watching on the body, some suggesting burial of the body
& some vehemently opposing burial & to wait till he returns. 

SRI Shankaracharya

Shankaracharya told his disciples to protect his body when 

he did Parakaya Pravesha of King's body for one night, as a 

consequence of his debate with Mandana Misra.
