LEELAS OF MY GURU--PART 3
OM NAMO GURUDEVA
One day when he was on the road an elephant with
mahuth was going in the opposite direction.The elephant
turned back , came near GURU and started caressing him
all over his body through it's trunk !
On another occasion a monkey climbed on his
shoulders & stayed there for a long time Guru told his
bhaktha's to give it a piece of cloth,then it went away.
Two donkeys used to visit him every day morning,
he used to feed them.Two dogs always used to sit below his
chair.He was looking after nearly 100 cows in his house

In RAMANA MAHARSHI's ashram on the hill leaders
of two groups of monkeys used to bring their dispute to
RAMANA for settlement.On one occasion a guest arrived
around noon & wanted to take bath in the pond. A tiger was
approaching the pond at the same time.RAMANA told the
tiger to go back & returnafterwards.The tiger went back.
There was one cow LAKSHMI at Ramanashramam., it
used to love RAMANA & behave like a jnani.
It gave birth to a calf on RAMANA's BIRTHDAY for
consecutive THREE YEARS! Is it not a miracle! It was so
lucky to die resting its head on the thighs of RAMANA.
There is a SAMADHI for it at Ramanashramam,along with,
for a crow,a dog,a peacock.
Queen of Rajasthan presented him a white peacock,
RAMANA insisted that it is kept near him,even though
ashramites found it difficult to maintain cleanliness,&
RAMANA is exposed to cold weather.
Squirrels used sit on his lap as if hypnotized & eat nuts.
RAMANA used to say we have to look after animals with
love as MAHATHMA's soul may be in them.

SWAMY NITHYANANDA used to talk to
cobras,tigers when they used to come to meet him.
He used to enquire the welfare of their family members
& guide them in which direction they have to go !
