1) HE WAS ALWAYS AS SAT-CHIT-ANANDA
2) HE WAS WEARING OLD BATH TOWEL ROUND THE
WAIST.
3) HAVING BEARD & LONG HAIR.
4) ONE LOOK AT A PERSON, HE USED TO COME TO KNOW
ABOUT HIS PAST,PRESENT & FUTURE.
HE USED TO GET ANGRY LIKE LOOK WHEN HE CAME
TO KNOW ABOUT PAPAS & HE USED TO ABSOLVE
THEM OF THAT.
HE CAME TO KNOW A PAPA I HAVE COMMITTED
30 YEARS BACK, HE TOLD ME HE WILL BEAT ME UP,
WITH ANGRY LOOK & ASKED ME TO GET OUT OF
THE HOUSE. HE DID NOT TELL ME ABOUT MY PAPA
WHEN THE ABOVE INCIDENT TOOK PLACE,WHEN
NEXT VISITOR RETURNED FROM HIS HOUSE, ON MY
INQUIRY, THE VISITOR TOLD ME GURU WAS TELLING
ABOUT THE PAPA I HAVE COMMITTED. HOWEVER
LATER I HAVE VISITED HIS HOUSE ON OTHER
OCCASIONS.
5) OTHERS CANNOT HIDE OR LIE ANYTHING TO HIM.
6) HIS STATE MADE HIM TALK AUTHORITATIVELY,BOLDLY
& LOUDLY.
7) AS HE KNEW WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN FUTURE-
IMMEDIATELY, HE USED TO PLAN FOR THAT SITUATION
IN ADVANCE.
8) ALL VISITORS WERE TREATED KINDLY,FRIENDLY,
HAPPY TO FEED ANY TIME OF THE DAY.SOLUTIONS
TO THEIR WORLDLY PROBLEMS WERE GIVEN THEN
& THERE WITHOUT EXPECTING ANYTHING IN RETURN.
DURING MY FIRST VISIT, TO ONE SICK DAUGHTER'S
MOTHER HE GAVE BLESSED MIRROR, COMB,
COLOURED RIBBON & TOLD HER THAT HER
DAUGHTER SHOULD USE THAT MIRROR,COMB &
RIBBON & THAT SHE WILL BE CURED IN 23 DAYS !
IN THE SAME VISIT, HIS NEIGHBOR, A VERY OLD MAN
WHO WAS 99 YEAR OLD, VISITED GURU'S HOUSE.
TO MY SURPRISE, GURU DID PADA POOJA TO HIM,
EVEN THOUGH HE WAS A NORMAL WORLDLY PERSON
EXCEPT FOR HIS AGE !
HE COLLECTED DRIED SUPARI(ARAKNUT OR BEETLE
NUT CHIPS) FROM HIS HOUSE YARD KEPT FOR
DRYING IN A BASKET, GROWN IN HIS FARM, TELLING
GENERALLY,"WE HAVE TO WORK HARD". HE HIMSELF
PUT 7 OR 8 CHIPS IN EACH PLASTIC COVER &
DISTRIBUTED TO ABOUT 6 VISITORS. SOMEBODY
SUGGESTED TO KEEP IT IN THEIR POOJA ROOM.
9) HE DID NOT ENTERTAIN MY WORLDLY PROBLEMS & HE
LITERALLY TURNED HIS BACK, EVEN THOUGH OTHERS
WERE ENTERTAINED !
9.a) HE GAVE ME 'DIKSHA' ON THE ROAD IN FRONT OF
HIS HOUSE, WHICH I HAVE NOT HEARD HAVING
GIVEN TO ANY OTHER PERSON !! AFTER TESTING
PROPERLY ACCORDING TO MY SPIRITUAL LEVEL.
10) HE WAS NOT ACCEPTING EVEN FRUITS, HENCE
VISITORS USED TO DISTRIBUTE THEM TO OTHER
VISITORS.
11) HE USED TO ENCOURAGE DOING SOME FORM OF
SEVA AS IT WOULD DISSOLVE THEIR SINS.
11a)ONE OF HIS SHISHYAS TOLD ME, HE GAVE GURU
BATH CHANTING 'RUDRAM' & GURU TOLD HIM
ABOUT BURNING SENSATION OF BODY.
12) TWO DOGS USED TO SIT BELOW HIS CHAIR LIKE
DATTATREYA.EVEN THEIR BEHAVIOR WAS WITH
MATURITY. ONCE WHEN I WENT GURU WAS NOT IN
THE HOUSE. WHEN I WAS RETURNING THE DOG
FOLLOWED ME TO THE BUS STOP TO GIVE ME
COMPANY, THEN I TOLD IT TO GO BACK, IT WENT
BACK PROMPTLY. RAMANA MAHARSHI HAS TOLD
MAHATHMA'S SOUL MAY BE THERE IN THEM !
13) WHATEVER HE TELLS ABOUT FUTURE USED TO
HAPPEN EXACTLY LIKE THAT.
14) HE WAS NOT AWARE OF HIS BODY. IN ONE INSTANCE
HE WAITED FOR SRINGERI SWAMIJI ON THE ROAD IN
SUNSHINE & BLISTERS DEVELOPED UNDER HIS FEET
& TOOK TWO MONTHS TO HEAL.
15) All MONEY,MATERIAL OFFERED TO HIM WERE SENT
TO SRINGERI PEETA.
!6) WHEN HE VISITED A HOUSE COFFEE,TEA USED TO BE
SERVED TO ALL VISITORS & HOUSE HOLDER , WIFE
USED TO FALL TO THE FEET OF ALL VISITORS
IRRESPECTIVE OF AGE,CAST,CREED ETC.
17) ABOUT 140 COWS WERE THERE IN HIS HOUSE.
18) HE NEVER USED TO BE IN HIS HOUSE & USED TO
WANDER,VISIT BHAKTAS HOUSES,OR WHOEVER
CALLS HIM FOR HELP.
19) HE LIKED TO VISIT SRINGERI SHANKARACHARYA
PEETA OFTEN.
20) ONCE HIS RELATIVES,BHAKTAS, WANTED TO VISIT
MANTRALAYA WITH HIM, IN THREE CARS. HE TOOK
THEM HERE & THERE, RETURNED WITHOUT GOING
TO MANTRALAYA AFTER THREE DAYS. I THINK THOSE
WHO ACCOMPANIED HIM DIDN'T KNOW, WHERE HE IS
THERE MANTRALAYA IS THERE. HIS OWN BR-IN-LAW
WHO WAS IN THAT GROUP,TOLD ME ABOUT THE
INCIDENT.
DURING THIS TRIP ONE IYENGAR, OWNER OF A
'IYENGAR BAKERY' HAD MET GURU & HAD INVITED
HIM TO HIS PLACE EARLIER. GURU TOOK THIS
OPPORTUNITY, TOLD ALL HIS FOLLOWERS IN THREE
CARS TO BUY AS MANY ITEMS AS POSSIBLE FROM
THE BAKERY, COLLECTED THE MONEY & HE
HIMSELF DEPOSITED THE MONEY IN THE CASH-BOX
OF THE BAKERY & BLESSED IYENGAR !
20a) SAME BR-IN-LAW TOLD ANOTHER INCIDENT--
GURU CAME TO HIS HOUSE BUT DID NOT ENTER
THE HOUSE HE SAT ON THE FOOTPATH IN FRONT
OF THE HOUSE & ASKED HIS SISTER TO GIVE HIM
COFFEE. SHE PREPARED & GAVE HIM. SOME
PASSER BY ON THE ROAD HE CALLED & TALKED
TO HIM.HE TOLD SISTER TO SERVE COFFEE TO
THAT PERSON. SHE PREPARED & SERVED. LIKE
THIS SHE HAD TO PREPARE & SERVE 12 MORE
CUPS ONE AFTER ANOTHER.
21) HE KNEW VANISHING, CHANGING ROOPA, PRESENT
AT TWO PLACES SIMULTANEOUSLY,MAKING CAR TO
RUN WITHOUT PETROL,CURE FOR SICKNESS,
HELPING TO FIND MISSING SON, ETC.
21a)WHEN VISITORS INVITED HIM TO THEIR HOUSE &
PREPARED TO GIVE THEIR ADDRESS, HE USED TO
TELL THEIR EXACT ADDRESS & TOLD THEM HE
DOESN'T NEED THEIR ADDRESS.
22) HE USED TO HATE PUBLICITY,IF HE COMES TO KNOW
SOMEBODY MAKING PHONE CALLS TO INFORM HIS
PRESENCE,HE USED TO SCOLD THEM.HE HAD TOLD
HE WILL PASS AWAY WITHIN ONE YEAR AFTER
SOMEBODY MENTIONS ABOUT HIM IN TV CHANNEL.
SAME THING HAPPENED !
23) VISITORS WHO ARE SPIRITUAL, USED TO BE TESTED
ACCORDING TO THEIR LEVEL & BLESSED
ACCORDINGLY.
HE TESTED ME OVER A PERIOD OF THREE HOURS
(PL.REFER POSTING'WHEN I FIRST MET MY GURU' &
POSTING 'GURU DIKSHA' )
24) HE USED TO CONDUCT 'NARAYANA THIRTHA POOJA'
IN HIS HOUSE & IN OTHERS HOUSES.
25) HE USED TO FEED TWO DONKEYS WHICH USED TO
COME TO HIS HOUSE
25 a) WHEN HE IS EATING IF SOMEBODY COMES IN, HE
WOULD GIVE FOOD TO HIS MOUTH & THEN
REMAINING FOOD ALSO TO HIM. EVEN IF SHISHYAS
REQUEST HIM TO CONTINUE, HE WAS NOT HEEDING
TO THEIR REQUEST. DISCIPLES WERE HAPPY TO
EAT IT AS PRASAD.
26) HE WAS MARRIED, HE HAD ONE SON,TWO
DAUGHTERS.BOTH DAUGHTERS WERE MARRIED,
SON WAS ALOOF WITH A DISTANT LOOK.GURU
HAD TOLD HE WILL BE OK AFTER HIS PASSING AWAY.
ACCORDINGLY SON HAS IMPROVED NOW.
27) AVADHOOTHA STATE HE ACHIEVED LAST 15 YEARS
OF HIS LIFE. ,
28) SRINGERI JAGADGURU BHARATHI THIRTHA SWAMIJI
HAS CONFIRMED SRI VENKATACHALA AS
AVADHOOTHA WHEN JAGADGURU VISITED HIS
HOUSE. FOOD USED TO BE SERVED TO ALL WHO
CAME DURING JAGADGURU'S VISIT TO GURU'S
HOUSE. HE DANCED WITH 'PADUKAS' (WOODEN
SANDALS) OF SWAMIJI ON HIS HEAD.

ReplyDeleteRama krishna paramhamsa,Swami Vivekananda and Ramana Maharshi are not avadhootas their spritual state differ from avadhootha state they are in states which are more then avadhoothah,they were in parabramha mandali of spritual stage where each stage is internally divided in 5 states and the ultimate is paramatma where avadhootha state lies in 15th state of 25 states in path of liberation..

If you carefully read between the lines you will find that I have not called Ramakrishna,Vivekananda,Ramana
as Avadhoothas. Pl. note it is a separate para & don't come to wrong conclusions.
The subject you have mentioned is an uncharted territory for me and I don't want to comment on it. However
that subject covers highest states of Spirituality & the person who has segregated these divisions should be
PARAMATHMA or VEDAVYAS only, as nobody knows His GUNAS & fathom His "Powers,Purnatha,Purity, etc.in absolute terms.
If you say you experienced these stages & it is not bookish knowledge, I shall come running to you SIR !!
HOWEVER I want to make following points on the above subject, from my limited knowledge---
PARAMAHAMSA -- A saint whose KUNDALINI SHAKTHI has risen above AJNA CHAKRA & reached
SAHASRARA, when SOHAM changes to HAMSO, is called PARAMAHAMSA. HAMSA has the quality
to separate milk & water from the mixture.so also in DIVINITY !!
RAMANA MAHARSHI is called as BHGWAN, initially by HIS shishya KAVYAKANTA GANAPATHY MUNI..
BHAGWAN applies to the saint who has gunas --- SHRI, ISHWARYA, JNANA, VAIRAGYA, YASHAS, & THAPAS..Ramana M aharshi has told 'VIDEHA MUKTHA STATE" is the highest level that can be reached
in Spirituality, which is also covered in this blog as a posting.
Pl. read 'Who is an AVADHOOTHA' in this blog & think whether that applies to the above three. saints also.
I am happy to note that you are very much interested in spirituality & trying to know advanced stages in that.
Pl, don't be a PUNDITH with bookish knowledge, try to experience these advanced stages, then you can talk more authoritatively, still it is difficult to explain such things to others !!
I shall be very happy to learn from you these advanced stages, if you can teach me ,SIR.

ReplyDeleteIts a very brief but apt outline of avaduta you have presented here. Although if I were you I would only stick to the facts that I've witnessed. Some things can go wrong or mistranslated or misinterpreted when they traverse along a long chain and it's always good when you hear it from the horses mouth. And to be clear on one thing, we are not here to compare as this was one of the first lessons I learnt from the man himself. And we are all equals at birth but it depends on what path we choose, how determined we are in what we believe. Avaduta used to draw 100 pitchers of water every morning from the river as offerings to lord Shiva. That was no easy task as you might know, it's a kinda tapasya in its own way.
I've heard him say that he can disappear, appear at several places, move the planets to different houses but he wouldn't do these as they were against the laws of nature. Instead he offered solutions that could make your path less difficult.
I vaguely remember one incident in particular a group of devotees were asked to visit sannidhanam at sringeri. While coming back their car fell off the road into the abyss about 30 feet height. Not even a single scratch on 5r 6 passengers.
I counted more like 40 cows in his house. We used to get milk from outside despite that. Reason being calves were fed first of their mothers not the other way around.
N about the son, a guru visiting avaduta touched him on the forehead when he was carrying out his rituals. He wouldn't have done that if the son was not worthy of it! Once someone asked y can't he do something about his son n there came a wonderful reply "I just don't want him to carry this karma of his into next life, he has the strength now n it will end here"...
I'm not questioning your intelligence about tatva here but merely stating some contrary but supporting statements about our perception of things. I have no idea about tatva karma although I would like to know more, but I just manage to distinguish between what I can do and what not. Hopeful and humble to know more from you...

DeleteFollowing way can be followed for your satisfaction --
Please take a new janivara & ududara with you
when you visit his adhistana, keep them on it,
do puja, recollect old memory of him giving
them in your mind, collct them back & wear
them with necessary chantings. As you know
Sandhy riyuals have to be followed when you
wear it.Upadesha Sahasri of Adi Shankaracharya
says only when you take Sanyasa you need not
wear janivara & need not perform Sandhya rituals.
This is purely my opinion, & I am not an
expert in following rituallistic shastras as I
have stopped following them long back,
as I am unable to do ritualistic puja due
to kundalini & mind,hands,body get frozen
while carrying out the ritual !

however I don't know him or had occasion
to personally talk to him.I see God in
all, hence i have no comments.
I have been told that 6 of my Guru's
disciples who used to be with him, have
been blessed with this Supernatural Power,
one among them is Sri Vinay Guruji. One
other among these Six is Sri Prasanna
Guruji, whom I happened to meet, when Guruji
asked him to accompany me to the temple &
report Him back what happens there.
Regarding this Supernatural Power, my comments
are are as follows --
1) Mind's activities in this unreal world,
are in the ambit of MAYA, like in Dream State.
2) Almost all people are under the spell of
MAYA & think they are in Real World !!
Actually we are dreaming like, in Waking State.

Sir I would like to ask you an another question, How can we invoke Sri Venaktachala avadhootha or any other Sadhgurus? We know that they are still exist in subtle form. and is it possible to invoke them by an ordinary(or a Paapi) person like me?

WHY DO WE PRAY TO GOD IN FORM ?
Following are the reasons --
1)Mind cannot easily concentrate
without form, even though Supreme Soul
is Formless.
2)Jainism & Buddhism believes in Formless
God,as people want form,Jainism made
Tirthankaras as Gods in their Basadis,
Buddhism made Buddha Himself as God !!
3)In Hinduism Puranas describe God in
many Forms, as a result, many many Temples
have come up with deities in these
Forms.People pray to these Forms & the
form which they like most, becomes their
Ishta Devatha.Chidambaram in Tamil Nadu
is the only old Temple, where Formless
God is worshiped.
4)Every member of your family has different
forms of Ishta Devata,indicating may be
continuity from previous birth !
5)Even Vedas talk of Brahma, Vishnu &
Maheshwara -- TRINITY, even though there
is only ONE FORMLESS GOD.Shankaracharya
says in MAYA PANCHAKAM, even those who are

1) Avadhootha & Sadgurus are GOD only !
Hence if you can invoke God, you can

2) Shirdi Sai Baba Samadhi Temple is
not different in any way compared to
any other temple of God !!
3) You keep a photo of any Sadguru, do
puja,prayer to it & meditate on it day
in & day out over a very long period,

After I read those lines, first I felt something in my heart(depressed). Then slowly I was started enquiring about myself, whether I am putting efforts in right directions or not.
"You seem to be expecting some Guru to come to you & cajole you to

Yes I am one the kind who is expecting some guru to come and uplift after I read two books namely "Living with Himalayan master" and "Apprentice to Himalayan Master".
A year back I was on search of a Guru. Somehow I came across a website http://siddhar.in/ with a quote "Are you interested to meet alive siddhar?". So after I gone through their website, I was very excited to meet the real siddar and hence I got appointment by sending all my details.
I visited his ashram on the appointment date, which is in a remote place near vellore Tamilnadu.
First he claimed himself as a bhagvan by showing some ghost exorcism videos he did, and then he told by looking at my horoscope, I have some doshas related to personal life and my mothers health. So he asked me to come every month and give dakshine to perform some pooja to remove the doshas. That is how I encountered a fake guru.
I requote your words here, "one has to uplift himself &
Guru can guide you only". I have to put sincere efforts in the right path with the blessings of Sadhguru.

Rama author of the above book was taken
by Himalayan Master as a small Baby &
brought up by Him ! Even Swami Rama did
not make progress after more than
10 years of Meditation !!
I was destined to meet & talk to Swami
Rama at Bangalore Theosophical Society,
say 35 years back !
He demonstrated how to Meditate & told
audience to ask any question on Vedas or
Upanishads !!
After the function I walked towards stage
& Swami Rama came down towards me. He told
me on His own, "You are an intellectual &
must be working in HMT or HAL" Actually I
was working in MICO(Bosch Group) at that
time. Then some people came for his
signature on his books & interrupted
conversation.Earlier in his speech he
also told that he is not after money, as
he is getting sufficient money from his
books !!

It is very unfortunate to the know, people making business in the name of God and spirituality. In his book(Living with Himalayan Masters) he had narrated some mystical experiences when he was with his guru and I found it is very interesting. Later when I goggled his name, I came to know about his controversies, I just ignored because those allegations might be made against him by his rivalries intentionally .
Sir I would like to know one more thing from you. I think you might have come across a book "Many Masters Many Lives" written by Dr. Brian Weiss. He has written in his book about the past life experiences of his patients during the regression(Hypnosis)therapy.
Is it true that, one can easily recall his/her previous births memories in just one or two hour with the help of hypnosis or regression therapy (where a yogi takes several years of penance to have a glimpse of his previous birhts)? Or is that just an illusion created by their minds?
I have seen some "Specialists" doing ghost exorcism videos on TV, telling people you have 8 or 10 athmas in your body etc etc... It looks like very silly and I feel it is just an act of a weak mind.

nor pupil nor teaching, nor you(the hearer)
nor I( the speaker),nor this empirical
universe; for,the teaching of one's true
nature(the consciousness of Reality) does not
admit of differentiation.
I am that One,Auspicious and Pure,that alone
remains.
4.5) Although Spiritual tenets should not be
applied to Guru, Ramana Maharshi has told --
THERE WAS NO WORLD, THERE IS NO WORLD & THERE

His Guru told Him "OM NAMO NARAYANAYA" is a
very powerful Mantra, which can be used for all

told to others. Sri Ramanuja while addressing
a public meeting told the gathering about this
secret Mantra. This information people went &
told His Guru. Then Guru told them, I am happy
that Sri Ramanuja is not SELFISH, He revealed
the secret to the public so that more people
are benefitted by it !!

Sorry i intentionally not replied to you from last 6 months as i had to think before i reply,hence it took time to understand more in me, before i say anything.
First is first, your observation on my comment being possessive of our Gurunatharu is very right and i agree on this point.
So i hope Yours’s as well, as very first line in the blog starts with, MY OBSERVATIONS OF MY PARAMA GURU --
which i feel a very good factor in my minds, which also helps me not to forget his teachings and his kind blessings until i leave my body from this world.
Dear sir.,i am not hear to criticize or comment on your thoughts and efforts on this blog,
however when i replied for your post, i just had an intention to mean based on the points which was listed from your observations,
at least many of them when i read as reader,it feels this points prove that he was supernatural(which kind of defeat his main desire, not just this media, but i start seeing on other media as well)
however i didn't find a single point on what was his teachings to the people, what he expected people to do to lead a better life in this world.
which i would love to read and understand from those person's who has witnessed him, who has learned from him and who is also leading better life in this world than those who didn't get chance to meet him (at least i feel,who ever got the opportunity to meet this great person in his tenure are the most luckiest in this planet).
Now if i just narrow it down on the below point- is this person just a NORMAL WORLDLY PERSON EXCEPT FOR HIS AGE !, how would you conclude what our Guru has seen in him?

WHO WAS 99 YEAR OLD, VISITED GURU'S HOUSE.
TO MY SURPRISE, GURU DID PADA POOJA TO HIM,
EVEN THOUGH HE WAS A NORMAL WORLDLY PERSON
EXCEPT FOR HIS AGE !
>HIS STATE MADE HIM TALK AUTHORITATIVELY,BOLDLY & LOUDLY.- Sir can you confirm this point? it is only due to his state it made him to be AUTHORITATIVELY,BOLDLY & LOUDLY. (Especially i doubt this point, as he was the most humble person to ever address a person)
>SON WAS ALOOF WITH A DISTANT LOOK- Is this point really required to mention?
What if this person is doing sadhna, when he was in that look?

Again sir, i am not trying to pin point, but we have to be little sensitive as what goes on public forum.
Now Sir your specific questions to me.
4.1) After a Great Avadhutha leaves His body,
does He merge in God or retains His individual
identity ?? - I really don't know sir, as i am just human.

WILL NOT BE ANY WORLD !!
In that case where is the room for your
narrow minded sentiments ??- Isn't it true the very first thing we look for, how to lead a life in this world? then i believe sentiments guide us the way sir!
Lastly to the below point- No body have to see vadhoothas, Saints &
Mahathma's as personal property and sir i confirm at least i am not the one.
Infact i will be happy to share my learning and things that i do wrong,
And sir some great person has said me once, how a person will be waiting to meet his guru, similarly guru will be eager to meet his student. just the time should come.
Their are instances where people met their guru's without going to them.
so we cannot understand this relationship, but which ever way this is most valuable thing to happen for a person.
Hope i am not being judgmental in my reply, nor i wish to take this to a debate,
it was really nice to have this blog. but i would love to see more of his teachings.

ReplyDeleteNamastae, it is very heartening and pleased to know about your guruji, though i had heard about Sri, Sakkarayapatna Avadhuta guruji, was not fortunate to have his darshan. I happen to meet one of disciples of guruji when i was visiting Shri Shridhara swamiji ashram at Vardapura last year, 2017 and happen to listen to guruji's marvelous accomplishments (apologize, no words to define miracle's). Is there any way now how can i meet his disciple now, i had learnt from the blog above that he has blessed six of his close disciples, how could i meet them. Sir, if you have any information, kindly let me know.
Also please let me know how convenient it is for me to meet with you and seek your guidance.

ReplyDeleteIn all these yugas there are peoples of all types. But in thetra yuga people are very much believing in god and be loved by the god. People's are not questioning to Mahatmas, rishi munis; simply they are taking the remedy for their problems and they do what they have told. All problems are solved like this. But some people's are always there in all times by which sri Rama the lord have to leave sita for dharma rakshana.
Now in Dwapara yuga sri Krishna has to tell Arjuna that do what I say. I am almighty god. Don't think too much.
Now in kali yuga people are very much engaged in giving proof are asking proof for everything. Still some great people's like Shiridi baba, Ramakrishna parama hamsa, Vivekananda so many and now Vinay guruji.
Peoples like these, having super powers to serve people and to tell this world to live with harmony.
So love people irrespective of caste and creed, and help each other to live in harmony in peace. Because the body I am having I know about it. One day it does. But the soul never dies. So try to know ur soul then u get the gateway to spiritual thing. Unless u known ur soul u r nothing.
Spirituality is the ultimate nasha of love,peace and harmony.

ReplyDeleteI am Chetan from Sakharayapatna, was living diagonally opposite to Gurunatha's home and distant relative too. He is very close my family. When I visit the village I go and meet him and have short talk and sometimes he also used to visit our house. I moved to Chikkamagaluru for my studies and I am currently living in Bangalore.
ReplyDeleteI found some of the information is not accurate here. Gurunatha's Son is of my age and we grow together, he was very much normal and for some period of time he was passing through some difficult phase that's all.
I am not aware of Gurunatha giving any kind of Diksha to anyone, in-fact he is against these kind of practices. He use to tell me "Arive Guru, Gurugala Seveye Dikshe". He also mentioned many times in public that " Naanu deha bittamele rodigobba avadhoota bartane, nambabedi".
As for I know he was in Avadhoota state after few years of his brother's ikya, not the last 15 years of his life. I have witnessed few miracles of him during my childhood times.
Kindly do not spread inaccurate informations.
