there are differences in their behavior & thinking!
SHRI RAMAKRISHNA PARAMAHAMSA |
BHAGVAN RAMANA MAHARSHI |
Ramakrishna Paramahamsa was not reading newspaper, when a
newspaper was kept under his seat(without his knowledge),he got
up saying it is hot underneath. On the other hand Rmana Maharshi
was reading newspaper end to end every day, even though he was telling vehemently this world is an illusion & there is no creation
of universe!

MARRIED LIFE:
My GURU was married & was having children,He became an Avadhootha fifteen years back & his life was open to help
anybody without any return expectations. He was going where
his help was needed & very rarely you could meet him at house.
He was like a living GOD!
SHRI RANGA MAHAGURU of Mysore was a married GURU
with children.GOD used to provide him with knowledge on any
subject naturally,without learning earlier.
Gondavale Maharaj was married & after his first wife passed
away,he married second time a blind girl.
Living saint MALLANNA at Challakere is married,he has an Ashram there & his family is staying in one of the rooms.
Raghvendra Swamy was married, had a son & at the request of
his Guru took sanyasa.
Sada Shiva Brahmendra married at very young age ,as was the custom at that time.Next day after marriage there was feast at
M-in-law's house.He was hungry & asked for food.AS many
items were to be prepared for feast there was delay. He felt
remorse & ran away leaving every thing. He became an
Avadhootha in real sense,he was naked & lived by begging.
Kaivara Naranappa was married, having children & his wife
kicked him out of house as he was not earning sufficient money
to meet the expenses of family.
Ramakrishna Paramahamsa was married to Sharada devi, but
he was treating her as Goddess, they were living separately. She
used to prepare food for him & his disciples.
Samartha Ramdass |
Ramana Maharshi,Akkalkot Maharaj,Narayan Maharaj, Samartha Ramadass Shridhara Swamy of Varadapura, Gajanan Maharaj, were all unmarried. |
SWAMI NITHYANANDA |
SHIRDI SAI BABA |
AVADHOOTHA SAKARAYAPATTA |
SHRI RAGHAVENDRA SWAMI SHRI GAJANAN MAHARAJ |
USING SUPER NATURAL POWERS:
Nithyananda was liberally using his powers to help people & society. He has told powers used by Avadhoothas are not
siddhies.Shirdi Sai Baba,Akkalkot Maharaj,Gondavale Maharaj,
Raghavendra Swamy,Gajanan Maharaj,Sada Shiva Brahmendra were all using their powers. Ramana directly never used to show
his powers, except on one or two occasions.Once a worker's son
was bitten by a snake , the boy was brought to him,he passed his hand over him & the boy was saved.Other was when his Mother was about to pass away,he kept his hand on her fore head, chest from morning eight o'clock to night eight o'clock to get her Liberation & was successful! When thieves entered his
ashram, beat him up & other mates, he did not use his powers.
Ramakrishna also used his powers rarely ,to show Vivekananda Divine experience, different colour flowers in the
same plant etc. My GURU was also using his powers to cure sick
people, problems in life, what will happen in future etc. Some of
his miracles have been posted earlier.
If Siddhies are used, that person will have to be reborn & his
spiritual progress will be hindered.
EATING FOOD:
In a normal household husband tells wife what to prepare
depending on his taste bud requirement or wife prepares
knowing husband's likes & also different items with different tastes. However jnanis cannot be slaves of taste bud, hence any number of items are prepared & given, they mix them all
together & eat it. Ramana & Nithyananda used to do it this way.
Ramana used to beg & eat many years till ashram is built & his Mother started cooking.
Nithyananda was not begging but people used to call him & feed him.
Sadashiva Brahmendra used to beg & eat,but mostly he was in
deep SAMADHI STATE.
Gondavale Maharaj at Kashi, prepared food for fifteen people
& fed more than Thousand beggars using his powers.Even today
free food is served at Gondavale where his samadhi is there.
GONDAVALE MAHARAJ |
AKKALKOT MAHARAJ |
side, later people used to invite him after knowing his powers.
Shirdi Sai Baba used to beg & eat, even though he was making miracles all the time.Once in a way he used to cook himself & distribute it to his followers.
END OF LIFE:
Shankara Bhgavathpada told his disciples in advance, walked
Shri Raghavendra Swami & Sadashiva Brahmendra,Shripada Shankara Bhgavathpada told his disciples in advance, walked
in Himalayas & vanished in thin air !
Shri Shankara Bhagavathpada |
Madhvacharya of DVAITHA philosophy, his body became a
heap of flowers in a temple near Krishna Mutt at Udupi.
of Mulabagilu,Manik Prabhu Maharaj, Marula Siddeswara Swamy entered Sajeeva Samadhi ie,entering tomb while living & when they signal, tomb will be closed by slabs.
Shri Manik Prabhu Maharaj |
cancer.
Bhagvan Ramana Maharshi passed away due to left hand
cancer near shoulder, even after five operations it did not get
cured. Then doctors suggested amputating left hand, for which Ramana didn't agree & within a week he passed away.
Swami Nithyananda,Akkalkot Maharaj,Gondavale Maharaj,
Gajanan Maharaj,Shirdi Sai Baba all had natural deaths &
on prefixed dates.
